Meet Our Experts

Jennifer G. Smith, Psy.D.

(She, Her, Hers)

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Ohio and identify as a white, gay, cisgender woman. I provide individual psychotherapy and have over 15 years of clinical experience providing mental health service to adults. I see myself as client-centered and relational in my clinical work and take an integrative approach to treatment. One of the most important aspects of counseling to me is making sure my client feels safe and heard. I view it as a privilege to be invited into someone's world and asked for help, so I meet the client where they are and we make a plan together.

I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can identify and explore their struggles and feel more empowered. My focus is helping clients overcome barriers in their lives to feeling more healthy and fulfilled. Managing mental health struggles is difficult, so I provide a space for clients to slow down, process, and make positive changes.

I incorporate and utilize therapeutic tools across multiple modalities, in order to meet each client's unique needs. These modalities include but are not limited to: Psychodynamic Therapy, Time-Limited Dynamic Therapy (TLDP), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) , ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and Client Centered Therapy. Special Interest/Experience in anxiety, depression, relationship issues, identity exploration, chronic pain, and LGBTQIA issues.

Vicki Fetterman, MSW, LISW-S, ADHD-CCSP (She/Her/Hers)

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a supervisory endorsement (LISW-S) in Ohio and am a white, queer, mid-size, cisgender woman. I adopt a relaxed, client-led, and collaborative therapeutic style. I believe in creating a non-judgmental space where clients feel seen and heard, recognizing they are the experts of their experiences. My approach is trauma-informed, feminist, and culturally humble, aiming to help clients live authentically and heal the parts of their stories that get in the way of that goal. I seek out regular feedback to ensure clients' needs are met and that they feel safe being open and vulnerable.

I draw from various therapeutic modalities, including ACT, CBT, EMDR, IFS, and Somatic Therapy to tailor my approach to each client's needs. I'm a Certified ADHD Clinical Services Provider and am in the process of becoming fully certified in EMDR and Perinatal Mental Health.
